Ode To The True Victim

Yea to thee,

the lambs,

the pristine and crystalline.

I do so envy you,

pain is the most of your worries,

and the end seems only to near.

Your hatred bent towards those,

your tormentors,

and it could only be that way.

Circumstance and fate,

are not your foes,

they did not cause your losses,

calluses,

changes of course.

I do so envy you,

who did not think to bring pain upon others,

who did not change into the innocent from the Heathen.

I do so envy you,

who does not have to condone your entire life's past,

and look forward to naught but conflict,

within your heart,

with no chance of getting what you once sought to destroy.

Victim,

I could only beg for end without mercy,

but that is denied.

I could only ask for forgiveness,

but the past is unforgivable.

My binding is my own,

and so I envy you,

and say this to you,

My situation is now irreversible,

but you can become what I once was,

through ignorance of your present,

and without forethought of your hatred.

Ode to the true victim,

because she got the better deal,

the more of the power,

and the freedom of choice over her future.
