School Girl She's had a recent heartbreak, or a constant heart-ache, whichever one she feels for the day. They get so mixed up, she forgets which one came first, like it matters anymore anyway. She's feeling tired of the light already, Too many people in her radius for thought, even though he's only numbering one. She doesn't want to see you, she's sick with fear and love, she has a fever reading, "it's got to be 90 or above." She's so driven into nothing, things she really doesn't care about, days and friends don't really matter, but she's giving it her all gladly. She's sitting there, quietly avoiding everything, wondering about those c.d.'s that spelled out her world, how could they be so right, and still be so wrong? |
