It sets us on each other,

its that part of us that we do not know,

it shows us what we want to see in those dark black picture that instill fear.

I am so unafraid now,

I can just see it slip away from me.

I know I still can't name it,

it truly has no head,

It rouses all those who sleep in their heads,

it feeds all those who don't want to be fed,

It what keeps us alive but make us want to die,

its a self preservation some kind of blank comiseration.

I think there is something left,

inside our bellies and in ourselves,

its that final saving gut instinct.

The way we dodge each time when it eats us up on each other.

Those of us who know it's charm know its endless incircling form,

that pressing fluidness that you can't escape.

The everyday mind that created this whole,

and the things we say and the things we do

they'll never outgrow the beginning that stemmed it all.

No matter how much we destroy,

it all stays here.

There is so much more than we really know.

The parts that make the whole,

separate the ways where we're molded.

Each time this darkness takes us

we take it in and regurgitate it back into the world.

That hate that it brings,

that sadness you try to sing,

that imperfection you know all to well.

It turns us inside out each time,

the mind that jerks us all around.

Theres a puzzle to this,

there is no pleasure to its mind.

It lashes out without malice or mind.

Our subconscious makes no mention,

nothing but sorrow and hope for the beauty to heal.

I think thats the entirety of this,

no explanations for the other things,

its just the spark of our imagination,

fallen into machinations,

these days of madness are not the end,

they do hopefully herald something better to look forward to.

An odessey of freedom awaits our telling,

something we have in our grasp but can't let go of.

It has after all only just begun.

There is much left to question,

and there is so much left to do.

perhaps the day holds us closer,

for the time that we can see our goal.

It's the beginning of something gold,

the dream that nobody knew to dream.
