Threat of Thoughts

Children of forgotten rage,

Relinquished, and left hollow;

Notebook of ripped pages,

Being consumed with desire.

We feel and express but to what end?

The ears of those about,

Not those of a friend.

Some have strength;

Speak and act,

Pride surging,

Covering themselves with righteous ignorance,

No crack to cradle doubt.

Some are rebirth;

A calendar of emotions

Bring unrelenting circles of sadness,

Lessons written down and not forgotten,

Bringing more lessons to learn.

Sphere of rebirth,

Hollow in the middle.

Some are death,

Containers of anti-life

Looking for a cure.

Feel the fire coursing through them,

Shadows that keep them whole.

They are stalkers

Sleep walkers of the night.

They are lost and found

Collective lonely for its brothers.

We are societies flaws,

Faux paux,

The unrelenting sponge of rage,

Left to dry out,

Beneath the sun of societies ways.
