Sunlight's Dawning I can see it, Clear as the light shed beneath your eyes, I can see it flowing, Breathing in from you. Feeding back in. You are your own, Golden circle of light. Dazzling auburn, Sultry summer heat, Temperate language, Your body speaks the truth. Each message you convey to me, Speaking whispers sweet as candy. My radiating, intimidating, Ray of sunlight. You are it's unfiltered essence, Dazzling and permanent. You burn through me and have sustained me. Sun child, Running blur of passion Compassion and feeling. Light to the soul of man are you, Pure to the last drop in the mornings light. You who breaks the night each day, Sheltering the world in your wisdom, Vocality and energy. The dawn does sparkle Tease the senses, Train the mind to love it ever more Leave it wanting more. What has this dawning sun done to me? I, a child of the rising sun Soak up the rays of today, Brightening those of darker days, My heart would soon be healed entirely, If the sun would rise in my east, instead of settling on my far horizon. |
